Odeta Gluoksnytė, Head of the Department of Project Activities and International Study Partnerships of Marijampole Higher Education Institution, and Romalda Kasiliauskienė, Head of the Department of Educational Sciences, took part in the international partners’ meeting of the Erasmus+ project Dial@ngues at the Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech, Morocco, in the WP3 (Training Devices and Design) workshop. “Dial@ngues is all about supporting the modernisation of language teaching in Moroccan universities. The main objective of the project is to create a digital environment that allows Moroccan students to improve their competences in Arabic, French and English. Because there are so many dialects of Arabic, students leave school with a poor knowledge of their language. The Dial@ngues project brings together a large consortium: in addition to Abdelmek Essaadi University, the project leader and coordinator, 11 Moroccan universities and 5 European universities are involved, as well as the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The workshop focused on discussing the legal aspects of the digital learning environment, defining the roles of the technical and language teams in the project and quality assurance of the innovative training model. Such meetings provide an opportunity for project participants to improve their professional knowledge and encourage the development of the international dimension of the institutions represented.
