This week, Marta Szczepaniak from the University of Applied Sciences in Wloclawek, Poland, arrived to give lectures in English to the students of the Marijampole University of Applied Sciences under the Erasmus+ staff training programme.
The lecturer explored the ideas of what a phobia is, how it differs from fear, what virtual reality is, what are the functions and advantages of virtual reality, how virtual reality can be used for staff training and treatment of fears and phobias.
The actively participating first-year full-time students of the Business English and Communication Studies Programme answered the questions, interacted in the discussions, and deepened their knowledge.
We are pleased with the international opportunities available at Marijampole University of Applied Sciences, which ensure the strengthening of students’ intercultural and foreign language competences.
