The TEAMSTEAM 2022-1-F101-KA220-SCH-000090261 Erasmus+ project started yesterday at the STEAM Open Access Centre of the Marijampole University of Applied Sciences and will run for one week (until 18 April). It involves 16 participants from educational institutions from different European countries such as Belgium, Finland, Turkey and Estonia.
On the first day, Marius Žitkus, Deputy Director of Marijampole University of Applied Sciences, Methodologist of Mechatronics/IT Laboratory of STEAM Centre, Odeta Gluoksnytė, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Social Work, Head of the Project Activities and International Studies Partnership Department, Darius Nemura and Vilijus Doilidovas, Managers of the Project Activities and International Studies Partnership Department, presented to the international guests the study base of the higher education institution, the only interactive video studio in the Baltic States, various innovative tools and equipment and introduced the future activities of the project period.

This was followed by presentations by international colleagues, who were divided into different teams and made collages to answer questions about PBL. In the second half of the day, O. Gluoksnytė, D. Nemura and V. Doilidovas gave a theoretical seminar on “What is Project-Based Learning?” in English.
We are pleased with the ongoing Erasmus+ projects, which are taking place in several European countries, and which allow the representatives of both the higher education institution and the STEAM Centre to strengthen their competences in their respective fields, to gain international experience and to share their own knowledge.
