Tuition fee 1480 € per semester (2024)
The studies are organised in Marijampolė (Marijampolė Institution of Higher Education) in the Lithuanian language on Fridays from 4.15 p.m. and remotely in the virtual study environment Moodle and on Saturdays from 9 a.m.
Who can apply
- Graduated from a first cycle university bachelor’s degree in social work.
- After completing a university bachelor’s degree in any field of study (in order to acquire the foundations of your chosen field of study), you will be required to take the following subjects in addition to your bachelor’s degree: the Theory and Practice of Social Work (General Part), the Methodology of Social Work (General Part), and the Social Counselling course (if you didn’t study these subjects as part of your bachelor’s studies).
- For the institution graduates, additional studies in social work are offered before postgraduate studies.
- The institution graduates who meet the additional requirements have the possibility to apply for the programme without additional studies after a motivation interview. Additional requirements: college graduates with at least one year of practical experience in the social work system or college graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and an arithmetical average of at least 8 grades in the subjects included in the diploma supplement.
