The Goodbye party for our Erasmus + students took place on 27-28 January. Odeta Gluoksnytė, Head of the Project Activities and International Studies Partnership Department, presented them with documents confirming their studies through the Erasmus + program before leaving for Turkey, and the MarijampolėHigher Education Institution Student Representative Office (MKSA) held an exceptional farewell party.
Five Erasmus+ students came to Marijampole Higher Education Institution to study in the autumn semester of 2021-2022. Three students came to the Social Work study programme: Ali and the two sisters Tuba and Gulcan from Bingol university. Selcan from Ardahan university came to deepen her knowledge and study Business English and Communication. And Kerem from Trabzon University came to study bei į Law and Public Procurement .
At the end of the semester, the members of MKSA together with the head of the Information and Study Resources Center Laima Vaičiūnienė accompanied the students of the Erasmus+ project. During the meeting, Ilona Mulerenkienė, Vice-rector for Academic and Scientific Activities, gave a word of thanks to the students. Associate Professor Salomėja Karasevičiūtė said goodbye to international students and encouraged her to return.
After spending part of their studies in Lithuania, studying at Marijampolė Higher Education Institution, Ersamus+ students were also ready to present their impressions of studying in Marijampole. After presenting a colorful poster, the students reminisced the time they spent in Sūduva region. As a memento, MKSA presented them with a photo collage made at the STEAM center. The meeting was crowned with a meal of traditional Lithuanian dishes such as zeppelins and kissel, and a photo session with MKSA students as well as guests.
MKSA members said they were happy to have the opportunity to get to know and spend time with Erasmus+ students and learn new things about other cultures.
