Incentive Scholarship
The procedure for granting Incentive scholarships is regulated by Marijampole Higher Education Institution scholarship regulations. The scholarships are paid from the scholarship fund, which is made up of funds allocated for this purpose from the state budget. The encouraging scholarship fund is distributed to faculties in proportion to the number of publicly funded students studying there. At the University, scholarships are awarded by the Scholarship Commission.
Foreign students can be granted a one-time incentive scholarship for active scientific, cultural, sports, or social activities (provided by the dean of the faculty, heads of departments, chairmen of study program committees, the president of the student representative body or heads of other departments of the institution). The size of scholarships varies from 1,5 BSB and 3 BSB (BSB – Basic Social Benefit which is currently 39,00 EUR per month).
