The Sūduva Regional Higher Education Institution hosts visits by partners from foreign universities. Just halfway through the week, Marijampole Higher Education Institution has already been visited by guests from three different countries – Turkey, Latvia and Scotland.
Abidin Oncel, a lecturer in social work from Sakarya University in Turkey, came not only to get acquainted with the Institution, but also for a clear purpose – to give a distance lecture to our students. It will take place next week.
Darius Nemura, Manager of the Project Activities and International Studies Partnerships Department, also met with Laima Žagare and Anna Greta Pilsuma from Riseba University of Applied Sciences in Latvia. They discussed the continuation of the partnership between the higher education institutions and student exchange opportunities. The visit of the representatives from the University of Glasgow (Scotland) is still ongoing. However, they have already had the opportunity to visit the STEAM Centre’s laboratories, the Small Television Studio, and the Institution’s renovated study facilities.
Each international visit and meeting with representatives of different countries and universities enriches the activities and study process of the Institution and helps it to become an even stronger part of European higher education.
