Before the last month of 2022, Marijampole Higher Education Institution Vice-rector for Infrastructure and Project Activities Marius Žitkus and the Head of the Centre for Information Technology and Electronic Studies Artūras Lazauskas took part in a meeting of the partners of the newly launched Erasmus+ project TEAMSTEAM-Developing STEAM Literacy, which took place in Finland.
During the meeting, which took place at Vantaa Secondary Level School, representatives of the six partner countries (Finland, Belgium, Ireland, Turkey, Estonia and Lithuania) discussed the future activities of the project, coordinated the timetables for the training sessions and meetings and the content of the project programmes, and selected the topics of interest to their respective educational institutions to be developed in the study process. Marijampole Higher Education Institution will be responsible for the development of the resource package and the resource user guide.
This “TEAMSTEAM-Developing STEAM Literacy” project will enable participating institutions to develop STEAM products to enhance teaching and learning. So the representatives of the Institution are already looking forward to the next working meeting in Estonia. We are happy to continuously strengthen and develop internationality not only through student and faculty mobility, but also through participation in international projects that are important for the Institution and the Marijamole Regional STEAM Open Access Centre.
