Last week, in the STEAM Centre of Marijampole University of Applied Sciences hosted a meeting of 16 participants from different European countries (Belgium, Finland, Turkey and Estonia) in the Erasmus+ project TEAMSTEAM 2022-1-F101-KA220-SCH-000090261. During the four days of the meeting, various activities related to the development, presentation and presentation of PBL (project-based learning) ideas took place in the laboratories of the STEAM Centre. These activities helped the participants to develop and strengthen their competences in the STEAM sciences.

On the last day of the project in Lithuania, the international guests had a familiarisation trip to the Panevėžys STEAM Centre, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the centre’s activities, the specialised laboratory, and to gain additional new ideas.
We are glad that the representatives of the high school and the methodologists of the Marijampolė STEAM Centre have strong competences and knowledge in STEAM sciences, PBL and can share them with their colleagues from abroad.
The next and the last meeting of the project is scheduled to be held in Finland. The project will culminate in the joint work of all participants in all countries in the development of a “Guidebook” of educational materials covering STEAM methodology.
